Documents
What you need to do
Kindly bring the following documents with you to your preparatory meeting:
- A valid passport
- A photocopy thereof (main page only)
- A photocopy of your entry visa
In case of re-marriage the following documents need to be produced:
- A certified copy in English of your divorce document or your ex-spouses' death certificate OR an ordinary copy thereof as well as the original for inspection only
What do I do after the wedding
In order for your wedding to be recognized in your home country, you require a full marriage certificate and an Apostille (a document issued by the court to verify the authenticity of the full marriage certificate).
I will make application for these certificates on your behalf. This process of procuring these documents takes approximately 14 days. Should a personal delivery not be possible due to your time constraints, I will send the documents to your home address by registered mail.
Weddings usually take place during working hours, they can, however, take place on Saturdays.
